Kangaroo is regarded as the strongest fine braiding leather available, approximately 4 times as strong as cow leather, which makes it an ideal leather for braiding. However, any show lead should have a core in the center for strength. A lead without a core will break. All of our leads have a braided nylon core in the center for added strength, and to prevent stretching. Each strand of lace is hand beveled to ensure a tighter, smoother braid and finished leads are conditioned and hand rolled for a smooth finish.
We have different beads as they are available, or we can use your own beads, if you have some you wish to use. There are a few sample beads combinations listed as example of some of the combinations available. We can also decorate your lead with a variety of braided knots or sliders. We usually have several leads already made, or can make one taylor made for you, so if you have an idea of what you would like in a lead, let us know, and we'll get one made for you!
